Bush Critters with Tracy Lewis


Bush Critters interactive market stall with Tracy Lewis has been run at the Maleny Wood Expo on previous years. Tracy’s approach to workshops with young people is all about creative freedom and getting the participants to work with different materials in combination to create incredible bush critters. This workshop is suitable for all ages. Tracy is a practising Eco Artist and has 25 years primary school teaching experience, including 11 years, as a specialist art teacher at the Ananda Marga River School, Tracy has been involved in many local community events throughout SE QLD, including; the Saturday Eumundi Market, Sunshine Coast World Environment Day, NIADOC week at Mt Samson and Beachmere Steiner school summer fair.

Bush Critters interactive market stall provides ecofriendly creative family fun. Choose from an amazing array of dried seed pods, {presented in hand woven cats claw baskets}, to create your own bush critter or seed pod mobile. Paint a warrior palm frond or make dream catchers. This workshop is open to participants of all ages, though the very little people will need parent supervision.

This workshop tent will be available to children from 10am to 2pm (no bookings required) and it is only $4 for each participant, which covers the workshop process as well as their unique Bush Critter to take home with them.
