2016 Wootha Prize Deadline Looms

The deadline for 2016 Wootha Prize entries is fast approaching with applications due on February 5th.

The Wootha Prize, Australia’s only themed woodworking competition, is open to both professionals and hobbyist woodworkers.

It has been the feature exhibition at the annual Maleny Wood Expo for the past nine years and is growing in both reputation and quality of entries with over $4,500 prize money up for grabs.

The 2016 theme is “Against the Grain”. All entries must be in sustainably harvested native timbers, weed or recycled timbers in keeping with the Maleny Wood Expo Sustainable Timber Policy.
